Harvard Business School invites potential MBA applicants and members of the class of 2016 to a number of campus tours and information sessions this summer. Campus tours and information sessions are held on the same dates. Prospective students can familiarize themselves with Harvard’s historic campus while also gaining insight into the unique elements of HBS’s curriculum, student body, and approach to MBA study.
The HBS campus tours and information sessions will be held on the following dates:
- June 14
- June 17
- June 21
- July 1
- July 8
- July 12
- July 15
- July 19
- July 22
- July 26
- July 29
Campus tours leave at 1:00 p.m. (EST) from the Admissions Office in Dillon House.
Information sessions are led by the Admissions staff and begin at 2:00 p.m. (EST) in Aldrich 107.No registration is required to participate in either event.
HBS recommends that prospective applicants attend campus tours and information sessions before applying to the MBA program, as these events set the precedent of active participation integral to life as a Harvard Business School student. In many HBS classes, half of a student’s grade is determined by class participation.
Attending a campus tour or information session also allows potential students to get a head start on the extracurricular involvement expected of an HBS student. Visiting applicants can learn about the influential HBS Student Association or one of the seventy clubs open to MBA students at Harvard.
Attending a campus tour or information session on any of the dates listed above would give a prospective student plenty of time to apply with confidence and knowledge to HBS. Round 1 admission materials are due by Monday, September 16, 2013 by 12 noon (EST); Round 2 admission materials are due Monday, January 6, 2014 by 12 noon (EST); Round 3 admission materials are due Monday, April 7, 2014 by 12 noon (EST).
