U.S. News & World Report listed the online MBA program at Temple University’s Fox School of Business as the ninth best program in their 2014 Best Online Business Programs Ranking. While Fox’s current ranking is a remarkable achievement for the business school, its increase in rankings is more remarkable. Over the course of a year, the Fox School of Business’ Online MBA program jumped nineteen spots in the rankings, from 28 in 2013 to 9 in 2014. The Fox Online MBA is now the highest ranked online MBA program in Pennsylvania.
U.S. News & World Report’s rankings are based on peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, student engagement, student services and technology, and admissions selectivity.
In his response to the honor, Fox School of Business Dean M. Moshe Porat discussed what makes the Temple Online MBA stand out: “The Fox Online MBA not only features a dynamic learning environment and premier technology. It also provides our most important assets: elite faculty and an accredited, high-impact curriculum.”
Fox’s Online MBA program begins with a week on the main campus of Temple University. While on Temple’s campus, MBA students engage in team building, networking, and professional development activities. They also take a leadership course and participate in special events. After the residency, students take courses online and collaborate with classmates and faculty through web-conferencing. Each course lasts for four weeks, and students can choose when and where they work through the courses. The Fox Online MBA program allows students to earn an MBA degree in 20 months.
