McDonough MBA in New Financial Times Global Ranking

Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business’ full-time MBA Program advanced four places to #36 in the 2014 Financial Times Global MBA Ranking.

McDonough ranking comes in part to its high placements among United States schools in the areas of alumni salaries, career progress, and aims achieved; the percentage of international students and women faculty at the school; the international experience provided by the program; the percentage of full-time faculty with doctorates; and the quality of faculty research.

The McDonough full-time MBA Program’s primary focus is student success. The school’s core curriculum has been put together to better prepares students for internships, jobs, and entrepreneurial endeavors. While working at their MBA, students learn the analytical and persuasive skills needed to succeed in business and understand when to use them and how to evaluate their decisions ethically.

Financial Times produces the Global MBA ranking annually through surveys of alumni and the individual business schools. The ranking is based on two surveys of business schools and MBA alumni from 2010. The surveys based rankings on “the career progression of alumni, the school’s idea generation and the diversity of students and faculty.”
