UB/Towson’s MBA Classroom
The MBA classroom at The University of Baltimore/Towson Merrick School of Business is far from vanilla—it’s a case driven, energetic learning environment where students with real-life experience work together and learn about the modern business environment from accomplished faculty members. The courses and curriculums are designed in an effort to augment learning experiences, critical thinking skills, business communications, and advance the business insight of MBAs and future business leaders.
MBA courses feature complex cases in accounting, leadership, finance, management information systems, and others. MBAs are required to examine a case and determine the root cause of organizational problems and offer creative and pragmatic solutions.
These classes are all highly interactive and team-oriented, as you work with a group of diverse professionals as you solve business challenges, brainstorm ideas, suggest alternative solutions, and learn about advanced business concepts.
In addition to you cohorts, UB/Towson’s faculty will challenge the way you think critically—an important skill for today’s business professionals who must have the ability to offer unique and different solutions to a company. Faculty will help you understand the role of corporate social responsibility in decision-making and what it means to create a sustainable enterprise.
The UB/Towson MBA classroom aims to offer prospective MBAs more—more choices, more professors, more locations and more alumni.
