Marshall Appoints Executive Director to Center for Technology Management

The USC Marshall School of Business’ Center for Technology Management (CTM) recently named Jerry Power as its Executive Director.

Power, who is currently the vice president of global strategic marketing at Alcatel-Lucent, will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience working with CTM to this new position.CTIM is an industry-supported Center of Excellence within USC’s Marshall School of Business. It is primarily focused on communications sector and its convergence with technology and media. CTM has over 20 corporate sponsors and is devoted to three primary endeavors: Global Consumer Research, Executive Education, and Forums for Industry Leaders.

Power served as the CTM’s keynote speaker for the Digital Summit event themed “Transforming Business Emerging Technology & the Enterprise” last year. His research findings were also published in Transforming Business: Big Data, Mobility, and Globalization, a publication that Power co-authored.

Power’s impressive resume also includes several awards from the American Marketing Association, including the 2013 Marketer of the Year Award for his work in market research. The new Executive Director has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, spending time with companies like Alcatel-Lucent, Rockwell, Siemens and Motorola.
