The Center for Positive Marketing at Fordham University has opened registrations for its third annual Conference in Positive Marketing. The theme of this year’s conference is “Making a Difference by Delivering the Positive.” The conference is intended for “scholars and practitioners who see marketing as an agent for positive influence in society and not simply a facilitator of the exchange of goods and services,” according to a press release from Fordham University.
The conference will take place on April 3 and 4 at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus at 113 West 60th Street. The first day of the conference will include an awards & networking reception from 6:30-9:00 PM, and the last day will include paper presentations and a closing reception from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
The conference organizers have also issued a call for papers that demonstrate the positive effect that marketing can have on individuals and society. Every paper submitted will be considered for the conference’s “Best Positive Marketing Paper” award. Papers that discuss the application and relevance of Positive Marketing in distribution channels will be considered for a special award, the “Best Channels Paper” award.
The conference fee is $395 for industry professionals. The fee is reduced to $105 for Fordham faculty and students who would like to attend all the events. For more information about conference events and fees, visit the conference page here.
