On Friday, March 28, Babson College will host its 7th annual Cutler Center BIMA Investments Conference. The conference will bring together students, alumni, and professionals to identify areas of greater risk and opportunity, provide perspective, and share insights about investing. The conference will feature several events, including a hospitality reception, a networking lunch, insights from a dozen leading experts in investments, and two panel discussions titled “Opportunities in Real Estate” and “Navigating the Bond Market.”
The Babson Investment Mangement Association (BIMA) and Babson College’s Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance are cosponsoring the investment conference.
The speakers for the conference include several prominent experts. Senator Judd Gregg, the former Governer of New Hampshire, Co-Chair of the “fix the Debt” initiative, and a member of the Simpson-Bowles Debt Commission will speak about Debt and Deficits. Kathryn Koch, the Head of Global Portfolio Solutions EMEA and Asia Pacific Ex-Japan and GSAM Growth Markets Strategist for Goldman Sachs Asset Management will speak about frontier and emerging markets. Jeff Mortimer, the Director of Investment Strategy for BNY Mellon Wealth Management and an alumnus of Babson College, will speak about Global Market Outlook. The conference will also feature insights from Craig Benson, the former Governor of New Hampshire; Dennis Hanno, the Provost and Senior Vice President of Babson College, and F. Mark D’Annolfo, the Managing Director of the Cutler Center.
