Wharton San Francisco Student to Run Social Impact Conference

On April 10, 2014, The Wharton Social Impact Initiative and students from Wharton San Francisco will host the second annual student-run Wharton San Francisco Social Impact conference.

This conference brings together an esteemed group of socially innovative thinkers who have a track record of knowing what is good for society as well as business. Speakers and alum in attendance aim to inspire, educate, and connect the members of the Wharton and San Francisco/Silicon Valley social impact community, and support these individuals and organizations in their quest to create sustainable solutions to enduring social problems.

The conference starts with check-in and a light breakfast before the first keynote speaker, K. Robert Turner (principal ad CEO of Turner Capital Impact), delivers a presentation on Profitable Purposes. A networking break follows allowing for students and professionals to mingle. Following lunch and performance from Little Kids Rock, a music education organization, a second speaker (still TBA) will deliver another keynote before two more panel sessions conclude the conference agenda.
