Wharton San Fran To Offer Program For Business Journalists
Wharton, San Francisco will provide intensive lectures and hands-on exercises, led by the Wharton School’s most prominent professors, to help reporters gain a better understanding of key business and economic issues.
This one-day program will feature Wharton Professors Saikat Chaudhuri and David Robertson on “Incubating Innovation in Established Firms” and “The Balance Between Creativity and Constraints.”
The Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists series is in its 46th year. The program offers participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge, increase their exposure to leading experts and broaden their perspectives in a stimulating environment. This program is free of charge and open to a limited number of journalists.
The program will take place June 11, 2014, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The registration deadline is June 4, 2014. The Seminar will take place at Wharton | San Francisco Hills Plaza, 2 Harrison Street, 6th floor San Francisco. Registration is required to attend this free Seminar.
The goal of the seminar is to help business journalist understand how today’s global economy requires a strong foundation in business and economic knowledge for business journalists. The Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists series aims to provide participants with the knowledge to gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of business strategy including the role of leadership, the economy and competitive vision and interact with colleagues from some of the world’s leading business news organizations. Particiapants will also receive a Wharton School Certificate of Completion.
