Anderson Announces Speakers for Exec. MBA Commencements

UCLA Anderson School of Management has announced the speakers for this year’s Executive MBA (EMBA) and Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) commencement ceremonies.

Frank Carrere (MBA ’97), senior VP of corporate development at Fox International Channels at 21st Century Fox, will address graduates of the Global Executive MBA for the during the commencement program at 3 p.m. on July 20, 2014, in Korn Hall. John R. Muse (MBA ’74), private equity principal at Kainos Capital, will address Executive MBA graduates at 3 p.m. on July 26, 2014, at Royce Hall and Craig Ehrlich, chairman and co-founder of Novare Technologies, will address graduates of the Global Executive MBA for Asia Pacific program at 6 p.m. on Aug. 23, 2014 on Alumni Plaza.

Frank Carrere has more than 20 years of professional experience, including positions in entertainment and media, banking, management consulting, new media and most recently, as senior VP at Fox International Channels, 21st Century Fox’s International Television division with some 4,000 employees across more than 70 countries. Originally from Chile, Carrere earned an MBA at UCLA Anderson and a BBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Texas.

John R. Muse (’74) has been an icon in the private equity business for more than 24 years, starting with Hicks, Muse & Co., which he co-founded in 1989. In 1998, he moved to London to grow the firm’s investment activities in Europe. Prior to that, he was an investment banker after serving as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He also serves on a number of private company boards, including UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Board of Visitors.

Craig Ehrlich is chairman and co-founder of Novare Technologies Ltd., a software development company based in Hong Kong that serves clients worldwide. In addition, he is the lead independent director of Bharti Airtel, the world’s fourth largest telecom company, and member of several other public boards. Ehrlich is a founding member and board chair of the Center for Global Management at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
