HBS Offers Nonprofit Management Program for Execs.

Harvard Business School is offering a Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program for Executives. The program will run from July 13 to July 19, 2014.

The program is tailored to nonprofit executive directors and CEOs. This Executive Education program explores proactive methods for mastering nonprofit leadership in uncertain times. Join HBS faculty and approximately 140 nonprofit leaders from around the world as you strengthen your ability to improve the effectiveness of your organizations.

The Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program is designed for nonprofit executive directors and chief executive officers who are responsible for driving the organization’s direction, mission, policies, and major programs.

The Social Enterprise Initiative at HBS applies innovative business practices and managerial disciplines to drive sustained, high-impact social change. Grounded in the mission of Harvard Business School, this initiative aims to inspire, educate and support leaders who make a difference in the world.

The program will be held at Harvard Business School’s campus. Cost for the program is $5000. Harvard Business School and its Social Enterprise Initiative subsidize the Social Enterprise program fees. Limited, additional need-based scholarship funding may be available. Information on scholarships is available at the Harvard Business School Social Enterprise Initiative website.

Applications can be submitted online. Qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis. Admission is selective and based on professional achievement and organizational responsibility. There are no formal educational requirements but proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
