Carey Graduates First Summer Class

Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is proud to announce that it’s first class of summer business school graduates walked on August 7, 2014. This first summer graduation is a sign of the business school’s continued growth through the years.

More than 400 students received degrees from the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Science in Marketing, Master of Science in Real Estate, Master of Science in Real Estate and Infrastructure and Bachelor of Science programs. In addition to the degree, certificates in Competitive Intelligence, Financial Management, and Investments were handed out.

James J. Murren, the chairman and chief executive officer of MGM Resorts International, addressed the graduates during the ceremony in the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. In addition, several Carey school officials, including Dean Bernard T. Ferrari, also made brief remarks to the graduating class. Finally, Jeri Fellerman, a senior vice president of Wells Fargo Bank and chair of the Dean’s Alumni Advisory Board, welcomed the graduates as new alumni of both the business school and the university. Fellerman graduated from the Carey School in 1999.

Back in May 2014 the Carey Business School held its traditional spring graduation at Meyerhoff and awarded degrees to more than 750 students.
