REGISTER: The Forté Forum at UIC Liautaud

UIC’s Liautaud Graduate School of Business is sponsoring the Forté Forum in Chicago on September 8, 2014. This forum/information session is designed for women to learn about the power one can gain from attaining an MBA degree. The event will be held at the Booth Gleacher Center from 6:00PM to 9:00PM.

Those in attendance can look forward to hearing advice and stories from MBA women across multiple industries and career stages. These women will describe how an MBA can help you succeed in virtually any career or industry – even the non-profit sector. The event also serves networking purpose as attendees will connect with women who are also considering the MBA program and admissions members from leading business schools in Europe and North America. These admissions members will help prospective MBAs explore opportunities to study abroad, learn how to finance their MBA and ultimately find the school that’s right for them.

After registration, the School Fair will begin at 6:00PM. Here prospective students will connect with admissions members from top U.S. and international business schools, and learn about the admissions process. During the networking reception light refreshments will also be served. These exhibits will remain open through 9:00 pm.

From 7:00-8:00PM, the MBA Alumnae Panel will share advice and stories. MBA women in various industries and career stages will discuss how they chose a career, what motivated them to pursue an MBA, and the successes and challenges they’ve faced.

Finally, from 8:15PM-9:00PM, an Admissions Panel of seasoned MBA Admissions professionals will discuss admissions requirements, researching schools, the application process, and financing your MBA. Schools presenting will vary by location.

You can register for the event for free by clicking here. Registrations will be taken until September 3, 2014.
