The Center for Executive Education at the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University is offering a two-day accelerated leadership course. This two-day certificate program, will teach participants how to lead across organizations. Attendants will also practice new leadership styles that can be tailored and applied to your workplace. The program will be held November 4, 2014 through November 5, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The cost of the program for alumni and advanced registration for non-alumni attendants is $599. Advanced registration will be available until September 1, 2014. The cost of the program for non-alumni attendants after September 1, 2014 will be $799. Registration sales will end on November 4, 2014.
Several faculty members at the Sawyer Business School will instruct the program. The faculty instructors include, Jodi Detjen , Instructor of Management and Entrepreneurship, Tammy MacLean Director, Center for Executive Education Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship, Regina O’Neill , Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship and Sheila Webber, Chair, Management and Entrepreneurship and Department Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship.
Over the course of the two days participants will learn different approaches to effectively lead others, manage team processes to achieve high performance, participate in a team-based experiential exercise, create and practice approaches to mangage difficult conversations, practice giving and receiving feedback and identify constraints to change and levers to reduce resistance to change.
There will also be an Optional Personal Leadership Assessment provided. The assessment will cost $650, in addition to the registration fee. The assessment will give you access to an online leadership assessment tool, two 30 minute one-on-one sessions by phone to create a plan for leadership growth as well as other helpful information provided by the faculty members.
