ICL Hosts Inaugural Africa Professional Interest Network Lecture
Imperial College London business students, alums, and others with an interest in Africa-related business opportunities are invited to an interactive discussion titled ‘Africa: The Opportunities and Challenges.’ This is the inaugural meeting of the African Professional Interest Network, led by ICL Business School alumni Nicholas Connell, Full-Time MBA 2003 and Romi Dahele, Executive MBA 2007.
The evening is open to all alumni of the Business School and Imperial College, as well as guests and those with a specific interest in the topic. Students are also welcome to attend. Speaking at the event will be:
-Martjin Proos, Senior Investment Advisor for Frontier Markets Fund Manager: Martijn joined the FMFM team in 2008 after having worked at FMO’s Africa Infrastructure department – Nicholas Connell, Head of Legal Services at Rubus Group and CRO at Swift Capital Partners: Nicholas is a qualified lawyer and MBA graduate, with international experience at the confluence of financial services and law.
The speakers’ presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer session. The issues discussed that night will help inform potential future discussion topics for the group. The evening will finish with a drinks reception, offering the chance for networking with the other attendees and speakers.
