Rutgers Business School alumnus Valerie Linteau, who majored in Supply Chain Management, returned to Rutgers on September 17, 2014 for the Supply Chain Management Meet & Greet and look for more Rutgers talent. She returned as a career employee of Kuehne + Nagel to represent the company.
The event is cosponsored by the Department of Supply Chain Management & Marketing Sciences, and Career Services, Rutgers Business School-Newark and New Brunswick.
“The supply chain major gave me a solid business foundation as well as a breadth of courses including marketing that I am using right now” said Linteau. “The leadership experience that I gained through co-chairing the Women’s Business Leadership Summit: ‘Standing Together & Standing Out’ as my Women BUILD capstone project has been extremely beneficial to me.”
Anthony Goralski, director of business development in North America for Kuehne + Nagel and chairman of the Supply Chain Management Meet & Greet, has guided the event to nearly quadruple in corporations and attendees since 2012.
“Together with Eugene G. Spiegle, we have grown the meet and greet from 20 companies and 170 attendees in 2012 to 85 leading corporations talking one-on-one with 600 RBS students and recent alumni in 2014,” Goralski said.
Anil Vegesna, a current Rutgers student said, “I ask the representative what they are looking for. If it is a match for my skills and interest, I can tell them about myself and my enthusiasm far better than just submitting a résumé.”
Key Account Support Specialist Valerie Linteau certainly enjoyed connecting with the next class of graduates from her alma mater.
