Wharton San Fran Offers New Exec. Education Program

The Wharton School, San Francisco is offering a new Executive Education program titled: Business Strategy & Operational Execution: Bridging the Divide. This is a two-part program, with the first part taking place in New York and the second part taking place in San Francisco. The program will be held September 15 to 19, 2014 in New York and November 17 to 21, 2014 in San Francisco. Business Strategy & Operational Execution provides a bridge between the two essential elements of long-term strategy and daily operations. Participants in this program will be given the tools and frameworks for creating effective business strategies and that knowledge will be quickly forged through rapid immersion in a business simulation that works through the key drivers affecting a company’s business operations. This program is best suited for senior executives in large, multinational companies based primarily in the U.S. The program is designed for leaders who:

• Have 15+ years of experience
• Are responsible for strategy, business development, innovation, R&D, product development, sales and marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and/or finance
• Recently assumed broader responsibilities, perhaps with a business unit that operates internationally
• Need to understand how to link strategy and execution, and to lead across cultural boundaries
• Work in a wide range of industries, particularly those with a manufacturing component, such as chemical, pharmaceutical, retail, consumer goods, and oil and gas.

Tuition for the first week in San Francisco and the second week in New York includes lodging and meals. Prices are subject to change.
