U.S. News and World Report has ranked the D’Amore-McKim School of Business’s International Business Programs no. 8 in the nation. This ranking was published in U.S. News and World Report’s recent 2015 rankings.
The U.S. News and World Report categorizes international MBA students as those student who master global issues through specialized courses and study abroad experiences and may find jobs in international business or at multinationals. The international business rankings were a part of the list of best business schools.
D’Amore-McKim offers a unique Bachelor of Science in International Business (BSIB) degree program. The program offers students an opportunity to both study and work overseas in the language of the host country. By educating students to become future global managers, the BSIB program develops highly qualified professionals who bring a more competitive edge in world markets to U.S. corporations.
The school also houses a world-renowned International Business and Strategy Group comprised of 26 full-time faculty members. Their research focuses primarily on developing knowledge on firms’ strategies in the context of emerging markets and on aspects of global leadership. They are also committed to the development of highly motivated individuals who will become global leaders of integrity. The group serves these audiences with pioneering research predominantly through the Center for Emerging Markets and the Global Leadership Initiative.
Northeastern University has also been ranked no. 48 among the best national universities. Other awards that the D’Amore-McKim School of Business has received are, no. 55 in the Forbes 2013 List Of America’s Best Business Schools for its full-time MBA program and no. 1 in U.S. and no. 3 globally for its online MBA program by the Financial Times in 2014.
