The admissions office at the Stanford Graduate School of Management bases evaluation of applications on the totality of information available. No single factor, whether your college performance, essay, test scores, interview, letters of reference, or work experience, is decisive. The school considers each application holistically and takes into account factors such as background, experiences, perspectives, fit with Stanford GSB and its MBA Program, aspirations, values and accomplishments.
Admission requirements for the MBA program include, a list of all postsecondary and graduate institutions attended, academic degree or degrees pursued and/or received, grade point average, an official transcript of courses taken and a language proficiency exam (if applicable).
The admissions office will review the completed application once all materials are submitted. After review qualifying candidates will be invited to an admissions interview. Candidates invited to interview are considered competitive for admission and every candidate who ultimately is offered admission to the class will be interviewed.
The admissions office encourages students to attend these information sessions and complete applications as soon as possible, in order to ensure a space in the program. Registration for the information session can be completed online.
