The 2015 Wharton Women Business Conference will be held Jan. 30, 2015. The conference is organized by Wharton Women, an organization that aims to facilitate the personal and career development of females in business by building a network of exceptional undergraduates, professionals, and faculty. The event will be held at the Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel.
The 2015 conference is titled “Higher in Heels: Strides to Success.” It will begin at 9:30 a.m. with conference registration and breakfast. There will be two keynote speeches and a panel discussion.
The keynote speakers for the event are Deborah I. Fine, COO of Modell’s Sporting Goods & former CEO of Victoria’s Secret Pink and Michelle Kelly, EVP of Brand Distribution, Marketing, & Merchandising at Lilly Pulitzer.
Fine is a highly accomplished executive and proven CEO who over the past two decades has led six diverse multi-channel, lifestyle businesses to enterprise growth and record profit. These businesses span all stages of the lifecycle, ranging from start up to mature, reinvention to turnaround. Her success across these companies has been based on combining creative vision and a metrics driven approach to operations and execution.
Kelly has held several different management and leadership positions in the Lilly Pulitzer Company’s marketing, merchandising, and distribution teams over the last 10 years. Under her leadership the company developed a profitable and fast-growing direct-to-consumer business.
The women on the panel include, Kacie Gonzalez, VP of Business Development at Shoto, Alicia Vitarelli, Co-anchor or Action News and co-host of 6abc’s FYI Philly and Amanda Lojewski, Business Director of Capital One’s Card Partnerships.

Early-bird tickets can be purchased until Dec. 31, 2014. Cost of early-bird tickets are $15 for Wharton women members and $20 for non-members. Regular member purchased tickets after the early-bird deadline are $20 and regular non-member tickets are $25.
