The second round of application deadlines for the full-time MBA program at Boston College Carroll School of Management is Jan. 15, 2015. Those who apply by this deadline will receive an admissions decision by March 15, 2015. The program will begin in the Fall of 2015.
The full-time MBA program is a two-year program that combines carefully sequenced courses with a variety of experiential learning components. Students in the program must also complete a concentration along with the MBA degree in order to personalize their educational experience to fit future career goals. Concentration options include asset management, business analytics, competitive service delivery, corporate finance, entrepreneurial management, financial reporting and control, global management, leadership and management, marketing and information analytics and product and brand management.
The Admissions Committee at the Carroll School looks for candidates who possess academic excellence, strong work experience and outstanding potential for leadership. Courses in business administration or management are not a prerequisite, but students are expected to be proficient in communication skills and mathematics.
Prospective students are required to complete an online application for admission. Other documents required for the application are, a copy of your current resume, official transcripts, GMAT or GRE scores, a list of employment history, two letters of recommendation and two personal essays. Applicants must also pay a nonrefundable application fee of $100.
The tuition and fees per semester for students in the Full-Time MBA program at the Carroll School are $21,885. The school offers several merit-based graduate assistantships and scholarships for students in the full-time program. Boston College also offers loan and work-study programs to help students finance their educations.
