BU App Deadline Jan. 7

The second application deadline for August entry date for the Two-Year MBA, MS-MBA and the Professional Evening MBA programs at Boston University School of Management is Jan. 7, 2015. Admissions decisions will be made for the Two-Year and MS-MBA programs by March 6. An admissions decision will be made for the Professional Evening MBA program by Feb. 6.

To be considered for an admissions decision, applications must be completed entirely by the date of the deadline. In order to complete the application applicants must complete the online application form, pay the $125 application fee, complete two required essays, submit resume and two letters of recommendation and provide official university-level transcripts and GMAT/GRE scores.

The two-year MBA program is a full-time program. The program focuses on addressing the dynamics of global business. Students will be assigned to a cohort: a group of 50-55 students who take core courses together during their first year. All classes over the course of the program will be taken with the cohort.

The MS-MBA program is taught in the same 21-month time frame as the regular MBA program, MS•MBA students earn two degrees: a traditional MBA with a concentration and a Master of Science in Information Systems. The MS-MBA is well suited for early-career professionals who want to redirect their careers by function or industry.

The Professional Evening MBA program is a part-time program. Students have the option of following a cohort structure or a self-paced track. Students who follow the cohort structure complete most of their course of study at the same rate as the rest of the cohort. Students typically take two courses a term, three terms a year. In the self-paced track, students determine the pace and vary it from term to term. Most students choose to take two courses a semester at a time during at least part of the program.
