Lucas Holds MBA Open House

Lucas Graduate School of Business will be holding an upcoming MBA open house. The event will be held Jan. 17, 2015. It will be held from 8 a.m. to noon. The information event will cover both the working professional MBA program and the early career MBA program.

During the event, attendants will be able to learn GMAT/GRE strategies from David Espiritu, Master Tutor/Instructor, Princeton Review, enjoy two mini-lectures from prominent Lucas faculty, hear about career preparation and employment opportunities and meet current Lucas MBA students and alumni. A continental breakfast will be provided to those who attend the event.

Speakers for the event include, Dr. David Czerwinski, an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Decision Sciences at Lucas and Richard Okumoto, a Lecturer in the Lucas Graduate School of Business MBA program.

Dr. Czerwinski’ research focuses on applying the power of data mining, visualization and optimization to problems in the private and public sectors. Applications of his research include healthcare and transportation. Areas of particular interest in healthcare include the use of large insurance claims databases to perform drug safety surveillance and measure quality of care.

In addition to being a lecturer for the last six years at Lucas, Okumoto has been an advisor, judge, and is slated to be the new Administration Director for the 50-year-old International Collegiate Strategy Business Competition (ICBSC) where universities around the world compete.

Registration for the event must be completed in advance to reserve your spot at the open house. Registration and more information on the MBA programs offered at Lucas can be found online.
