The Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University is holding a graduate information session. The event will be held Dec. 10, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St. John’s Manhattan campus. This event is open to all prospective graduate students.
During the event, admissions and program experts will be there to provide prospective students with insight on the value of an advanced business degree, a detailed overview of Tobin’s catalog of programs and guidance with the application process.
The Tobin College of Business offers several different MBA programs at its various campuses. The program options at the Manhattan campus include, accounting, enterprise risk management, finance, public accounting, taxation, and risk management. Other program options include business analytics, computer information systems for managers, controllership, executive management, international business and marketing management.
These programs are offered at the Queens, Staten Island and Rome campuses. Many of the Manhattan programs are also offered at these campuses. There are also several BS and BA to MBA programs offered at the Queens and Staten Island campuses to qualifying undergraduate students that already attend St. John’s University.
The mission of the Tobin College of Business is to develop men and women of character able to lead the way in today’s global economy by preparing students with state-of-the-art problem-solving skills and an international perspective. Academics at the school emphasize applied, experiential learning with a global perspective. There is also an emphasis on scholarly research as part of the business program.
