Wharton SF Holds Entrepreneurs Summit
Wharton San Francisco will be holding the Entrepreneurs Summit. The summit will be held Dec. 10, 2014. The event will provide attendants with an outstanding educational experience combined with one of the best networking opportunities for entrepreneurs.
During the event, industry leaders will participate in three panels, speeches and breakout sessions that address issues affecting early stage, growth stage and industry leading entrepreneurial companies. Those who should attend the event include, current and prospective entrepreneurs, angel and venture investors, managers at emerging growth companies, lawyers, accountants and consultants working with entrepreneurs at all stages and board members and advisors.
Heidi Roizen, Operating Partner, DFJ and Chair of the Entrepreneurs Summit will give the opening keynote speech. There will also be three panel discussions. The first will be on the topic of investor and entrepreneur’s perspective on challenges in 2014-2015. The second panel, the entrepreneur’s and venture capitalist’s perspective on thriving in the growth stage, will be given after lunch. The second keynote speech will be given by Jeff Grabow, US Venture Capital Leader, EY.
The last panel discussion is a CEO Panel: You’ve made it; now how to stay there and innovate- Industry Leaders Perspective. The last keynote speech titled, Ingredients of Successful Venture Capital Investments, will be given by Michael Goguen, Managing Partner, Sequoia Capital.
Breakfast, lunch, coffee and a cocktail reception will be provided for those who attend the event. The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The cost of early admission is $495. Early admission can be purchased until Dec. 7, 2014. Admission after Dec. 7 will be $995 and walk in price for the day of the event is $1300. Registration can be made online.
