Harvard Business School has opened applications for the spring and summer 2015 cohort of its online HBX CORe program. The new HBX CORe program is a cutting-edge online learning initiative that provides a primer on the fundamentals of business with a suite of three integrated courses.
The courses for the program include, Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting. The program is taught by a team of Harvard Business School faculty members and is designed specifically for rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors; current and prospective graduates; and those in the first ten years of their careers.
Applications for the program must be received by Feb. 4 for the cohort that begins on Feb. 25. Applications are now also open as well for cohorts beginning on April 15 and June 3.
Admission for the CORe online program is based on individual applications that highlight aptitude and motivation. Applicants are encouraged to provide insight as to why they want to participate in the program and what they plan to contribute to the rigorous learning community of which they will be a part.
International residents as well as US residents are able to apply for the program. There are no residency requirements for the entirely online program. The fee for the February and April cohorts is $1,500. The cost of the June and all other proceeding cohorts will be $1,800. Need-based financial aid may be available to U.S. citizens currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.
