Apps Open for Lucas Fall 2015 MBA Programs

Applications for the Fall 2015 graduate programs at the Lucas Graduate School of Business are now open. The deadline for the MBA for Professionals and the Early Career MBA programs is May 1, 2015. All documents required for application are due by May 20, 2015. Applications for both programs must be completed online.

In order to complete the application process at Lucas, prospective students must first register online for an account. After completing the online application, prospective students must provide the admissions office with several supporting documents. The documents include, GMAT/GRE scores, a professional resume and a statement of purpose. MBA students also have the option to provide two letters of recommendation from faculty members or former or current employers.

The MBA programs at the Lucas School of Business consist of 14 courses or 42 semester units. Ten of these courses are considered core courses that cover all of the major foundational areas of business and provide students with the necessary business knowledge to become professional business managers. The remaining four courses are elective courses. Students choose which elective courses they wish to take. Electives allow students to shape their own curriculum to gain a more specified knowledge in one of the foundational areas in the core courses.

The Early Career MBA program offers three different structures for the program. Lucas offers an Accelerated Track, designed for those seeking to complete an MBA degree in 12 months, a Full-Time Track, designed to be completed in 21 to 24 months, and a Part-Time Track, which can be completed in three to three and a half years. The MBA for Professionals can be completed in two to three years.
