BU Holds EMBA Online Information Session
Boston University’s Graduate School of Management will be hosting an upcoming online information session. This information session is for the Executive MBA program offered at BU. The event will be held Jan. 21. It will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The webinar is designed to provide prospective students with an overview of the program.
The Executive MBA program at Boston University School of Management is an accelerated program that allows students to earn an MBA degree in 18 months. The program is divided in around five modules. The modules are bracketed by four residential weeks. Classes for the program meet on alternating Fridays and Saturdays at the BU School of Management.
The program’s general management curriculum focuses on giving students a strong business foundation, emphasizing in team learning, personal development and leadership skills. The program also offers a strong global component through global case studies and an international module and trip to provide an understanding of the challenges faced by the global economy.
The 2014 Financial Times ranking of executive MBA programs around the world has placed Boston University School of Management 1st in New England, and 27th among US-based EMBA programs. Globally, BU’s Executive MBA program was ranked 69th, up 12 places from the 2013 ranking.
The EMBA program at BU was ranked no. 1 in New England by the Financial Times’ ranking of EMBA programs around the world. Financial Times also ranked the program no. 27 among US-based EMBA programs and no. 69 globally The Economist EMBA ranking survey also ranked the program no. 1 in New England and no. 19 nationally for programs based solely in the United States.
