Columbia Early Admission Deadline Jan. 12
The early admission deadline for the Saturday Executive MBA program at Columbia Business School is Jan. 12. This early deadline is for the May 2015 entry for the EMBA program. The early decision option for admission is ideal for prospective students who have decided that Columbia Business School is the school that they would like to attend.
Applications submitted by the early decision deadline are reviewed before the regular decision applications. Candidates who apply for early decision and are offered admission to the program have up to two weeks to submit their nonrefundable $6,000 deposit for tuition.
The curriculum for the Executive MBA program at Columbia is identical to the Full-Time MBA program options. EMBA students have the same access to career advisors and the same active alumni network. The same faculty that teach the other MBA options at Columbia also teach the EMBA students.
The Saturday Executive MBA program is an ideal program for those professionals who are in careers that are accelerating rapidly or are working in fast-changing industries. The Saturday schedule gives professionals a way to earn a MBA degree with out taking time away from work or other professional opportunities.
Students in the program meet weekly on Saturday for six terms over a 24-month period. The program begins in May. The Columbia Business School accepts employer sponsorship to pay for the program, although it is not required for attendance.
In addition to completing the core curriculum for the program, students have the opportunity to choose electives to complete a concentration in order to tailor their educational experience to fit their career goals.
