Columbia Holds EMBA Information Session
The Columbia Business School will be hosting an information session for its Executive MBA program. The information session will be held Feb. 7 at the Columbia campus. The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. and last until noon. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to speak with admissions officers and current students and alumni about the Columbia Business School and the Executive MBA program.
The Executive MBA program at Columbia is designed for working executive professionals. Classes for the program are held in a biweekly Friday and Saturday schedule or a weekly Saturday option. Each of the programs is identical to the Full-Time MBA program, with the only difference being in the scheduling options.
The Friday/Saturday program is a 20-month program that begins in August. Students are grouped in to small clusters to create an intense and personal educational experience and networking opportunities. The Saturday program runs for six terms over 24 months, beginning in May. This program features the same collaborative, supportive cluster system as other EMBA programs.
Employer sponsorship of time for the Executive MBA program is required. Financial sponsorship for the program from an employer is accepted but is not required to attend. In addition to completing core courses that lay a solid foundation of business and management skills, EMBA students select from one of the largest slates of electives, including biweekly classes, intensive weeklong courses, and international seminars held around the world. Students also have access to full-time MBA courses and other courses at Columbia’s other graduate schools.
Registration for the Executive MBA information session at Columbia can be completed online. The event is free for all prospective students to attend.
