Merage Holds Admissions Lunch in Long Beach

The Paul Merage School of Business will be holding an admissions lunch event for its Fully Employed MBA, Healthcare Exectutive MBA and Executive Education program in Long Beach. The event will be held Jan. 15 at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Long Beach. The event will begin at noon and last until 1 p.m.

The lunch event is designed to provide prospective Merage School students with a brief over view of the Fully Employed, Executive and Health Care Executive MBA program options. During the event, attendants will have the opportunity to ask the admissions team, current students and alumni any question about the part-time program options at the Merage School of Business.

The Fully Employed MBA program is designed for working professionals and can be completed in 27 to 33 months. Students in the FEMBA program are required to complete 12 core courses, 6 electives and 3 off-site residentials. The curriculum for the program is designed to maximize the various learning styles of all of the program’s students. The program is a combination of the Full-Time and Executive curriculum.

The Executive MBA program at Merage begins in the Fall. The program can be completed in 21 months. Classes for this program meet on alternating weekends at 8:30 a.m. Students attend seven consecutive 10-week quarters in the Fall, Spring and Summer. Students also participate in three off site experiential residentials.

The Health Care Executive program is designed for professionals in the pharmaceutical, medical device, managed care, insurance, healthcare management and healthcare policy industries. This is a 21-month program that begins every Fall. Classes for this program are held one weekend per month, beginning on Thursday at 7 p.m. and ending on Sunday at noon.

Registration for the Admissions Lunch event is required and can be completed online. Lunch is covered by the Merage School and free two-hour parking is available for attendants.
