New Year Means New Degrees at Kellstadt Graduate School of Business

It’s a new year for working professionals and prospective MBAs are setting resolutions to focus on increasing skills and business connections for career advancement. DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business has a resolution as well: to offer a range of fresh business degree options. The programs feature part-time and evening options and target a wide array of professionals, from those new to the workforce to seasoned executives.

One of the new degrees offered, the Evening Cohort MBA, is unique to the Chicago market combines parts of full-time and part-time MBA programs. MBA classes are together as a group, but in a convenient, accelerated after-work schedule to help encourage networking and team building. The program focuses on strategy, leadership and change management and aims to develop professionals for senior positions in business, consulting and nonprofits.

The Evening Cohort MBA meets on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. through the length of the program. Students in the program start and finish the required core and leadership, strategy and change management concentration courses as a group. The cohort format is unique among Chicago part-time MBA programs and provides working professionals an opportunity to deepen their leadership abilities by working with the same group of peers on team projects, mirroring the real workplace. Students in the Evening Cohort MBA program also will be able to participate in an international study abroad trip as a cohort.

Students are admitted to the Evening Cohort MBA program in the fall quarter only, and the application deadline is August 1.View the complete list of admission requirements here.
