SFSU Holds EMBA Information Session
San Francisco State University College of Business will be holding an information session for its Executive MBA program. The event will be held Jan. 13, 2015. It will be held at the San Francisco State University downtown campus.
The Executive MBA program is a 22-month, part-time program. Classes for the program are held on the weekend twice a month. The program is taught in a cohort structure. The Executive MBA program is AACSB International accredited.
The cohort structure of the program helps to create classroom relationships that aids in professional networking. Cohort diversity provides a mix of students that helps students to develop a strong, positive learning community. Students in the EMBA program come from a wide variety of professional and academic backgrounds. Students in the program have an average of 12 years work experience.
The EMBA curriculum balances the art and sciences of management in order for students to gain an understanding of both the theoretical backdrop for business and learns to apply theory in diverse management situations. Courses are designed to give a comprehensive and relevant understanding of today’s management environment.
The Executive MBA program at San Francisco State University’s College of Business is being reintroduced for the Fall 2015. Prospective students can apply online. In order to complete an online application, applicants must pay a $55 application fee, complete an online application form and submit one official copy from all colleges, universities, and community colleges attended. GMAT/GRE scores are not required for the Executive MBA program. Prospective students must also submit a statement of purpose, a professional resume and at least two letters of recommendation.
