SFSU Holds EMBA Information Session
San Francisco State University College of Business will be holding an information session for its Executive MBA program. The event will be held Feb. 4 at the San Francisco State University’s downtown campus. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will last for one hour.
During the information session, prospective students will learn more about San Francisco State’s fast-track 22-month cohort Executive MBA program. An advisor will be available to answer any questions that prospective students may have. The advisor will also share tips about the application process and admission guidelines.
The Executive MBA program at SFSU is a cohort structured 22-months part-time program. Classes for the program are held on the weekends and meet twice a month. Students also participate in monthly Thought Leadership Speaker Series. The curriculum for the EMBA program is a mix of the art and sciences of management. Students gain an understanding of both the theoretical side of business as well as how to apply theory in real life situations.
Courses for the program are designed to give students a comprehensive and relevant understanding of the management environment of today. Students complete case studies of actual business situations and hear guest speakers with specialized expertise as an essential part of the curriculum.
Students in the EMBA program come from a wide variety of professional and academic backgrounds. Students have an average of 12 years of work experience. Many will have already obtained a master’s or doctorate degree. Students use their insight and real-world experiences to create a rich and diverse industry landscape in the classroom.
