The Simmons School of Management will be holding a MBA Showcase for prospective students. The event will be held Jan. 28. The showcase will be held on the Simmons campus at The Freeway. Admissions officers will be available to give attendants details about the application process and how students can finance their education.
During the MBA Showcase, prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about all parts of the MBA experience at Simmons School of Management. Prospective students will be able to learn about the opportunities for women at Simmons and the new innovative curriculum that ensures real-world learning experience. Prospective students will also learn more about the flexible fu-time and part-time options and opportunities for career placement.
The MBA program at Simmons starts with a week of skill building workshops and a general orientation for students. The week long class gives students an introduction to the curriculum and the concepts that are important to Simmons. After orientation and foundations of business courses, students complete a series of foundational courses, advanced courses and capstone courses that will provide students with the skills needed to become successful leaders.
Simmons School of Management offers a 16-month full-time program that offers all aspects of a traditional two-year program in a compressed time line. The school also offers a part-time three-year program option. The part-time option is designed for students who require a more flexible schedule that gives students a better way to balance school and work. The school also offers a part-time to full-time program option for students to start in January as part-time students and join full-time cohorts in the fall.
Registration for the MBA Showcase can be completed online. The event is free and parking is available for those who attend.
