CSULB Scholarship App Deadline March 12

The deadlines for submission of scholarship applications for the College of Business Administration at California State University, Long Beach is Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 4 p.m. There are more than 15 different scholarships available through the College of Business. Scholarship awards range from $470 to $4700. Those interested in completing applications for the scholarships must submit the required documents to the Center for Scholarship Information in addition to completing the online application.

The Center for Scholarship Information at CSULB is to create outstanding scholarship opportunities for students through organizing information in an efficient manner, serving as a campus resource on the complete scholarship process, administering campus scholarships when necessary and assisting scholarship fundraising efforts.

CSULB also offers students scholarship support outside of the College of Business Administration. Scholarships are offered as on or off campus work study, teaching assistantships, athletic scholarships, competitive scholarships, extracurricular scholarships, study abroad and a wide range of scholarships open to all students at CSULB.

CSULB offers three MBA programs, the Evening MBA, the Daytime Accelerated MBA and the Saturday MBA. The cost per credit for California residents participating in  the Evening MBA program is $254, the cost for non-residents is $372 per unit. The total cost of the program per semester depends on the amount of credits taken.

The cost of the Daytime Accelerated MBA program is $850 per unit, or $2,550 for a three-unit class.  The total cost for the 48 unit Program is $40,800. The cost of the program includes tuition, books and materials, parking, and one meal on the days classes are held. The program cost also covers for the landed costs of the international trip. Students are responsible for airline tickets to and from the destination as well as ground transportation to and from the airport to the hotel, and their personal expenses.

The Saturday MBA program cost is $875 per unit, or $2,625 for a three-unit class.  The total cost for the 48 unit Program is $42,000.  The cost includes tuition, books and materials, parking, breakfast and lunch on the days classes are held. The program also pays for the landed costs of the international trip.
