Davis Hosts Info Session and Application Workshop
UC Davis Graduate School of Management will be hosting a combined information session and application workshop. The event will be held March 25 at The Workshop Café. This session is designed to help prospective students to learn about our distinctive curriculum, student life as well as obtain inside information the admission process including application and interview tips from current students and admissions staff.
In order to complete a successful application for the MBA program at Davis, prospective students must complete an application online, provide a copy of their professional résumé, two professional recommendations, answer one essay and provide a personal introduction, a copy of transcripts from all undergraduate and other graduate work, GMAT or GRE test scores, and pay the $125 application fee.
The Full-Time MBA Program is a 21-month program. Within that time, students complete 72 units to meet the requirement for graduation. The School does not offer summer quarter courses in the Full-Time MBA Program as most students complete internships during the summer quarter. There is no accelerated program for Full-Time MBA students.
UC Davis offers two part-time MBA programs, one in Sacramento and one in the Bay Area. The Sacramento MBA program is a traditional Part-Time MBA program with classes in the evening. Elective courses are offered in the summer quarter for those students that wish to proceed through the program at a faster pace.
The Bay Area program is a hybrid of our Full-Time and Part-Time MBA program in Sacramento with classes offered on the weekends. Most students choose to attend class every other weekend. The programs last between 21 and 48 months, depending on the amount of classes taken each quarter. Students in the part-time program have an average work experience of seven years and the average age of students in the program is 30. Forty-four percent of the students in the program are female.
Registration for the information session can be completed online.
