Suffolk University – Sawyer Business School will be hosting an EMBA Information Session. The event will be held Feb. 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. During the event, prospective students will have the opportunity to discuss the Executive MBA program details, admissions process and have any questions answered by EMBA program representatives. A complimentary breakfast will be provided to students who attend the event.
The EMBA program at Sawyer is designed for mid-level executives looking to enhance their managerial skills. The Executive MBA Program teaches courses in clusters that mirror how business works across functional areas. Students move through the curriculum as part of a cohort of 20-25 students, attending four clusters of courses and four residential seminars.
The program lasts for 16-months with classes being held on Saturdays. The curriculum for the Executive MBA Program requires students to complete a four-month individual capstone project tied directly to their future career goals. The research focuses on an area of the student’s career that he or she wants to explore and develop further. The final project is an in-depth analysis and presentation during the last semester in the program. Industry representatives are invited to the presentation to evaluate the students’ research findings.
The Executive MBA program begins in September each year. Students seeking financial aid and/or scholarships are encouraged to apply by the priority application deadline of March 15. EMBA Program applicants must have seven or more years of demonstrated leadership experience and exhibit significant professional achievements and hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Registration for the EMBA information session can be completed online.
