Argyros FT MBA Ranked No. 8 in California
The Full-Time MBA program at the Argyros School of Business has been ranked no. 8 in the state of California and no. 83 nationwide by US News & World Report. The program had previously been ranked no. 120 in 2013. For the U.S. News Best Business Schools rankings, all 464 master’s programs in business accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International were surveyed in fall 2014 and early 2015. A total of 385 responded. These responses generated the ranking scores.
Out of the 385 total schools that responded, 126 provided enough data needed to calculate the full-time MBA rankings, based on a weighted average of the indicators. Indicators include a quality assessment, placement success and student selectivity. Other factors such as the average GMAT score, acceptance rate and employment rates for full-time program graduates are also considered.
Data for the rankings were standardized about their means, and standardized scores were weighted, totaled and rescaled so that the top school received 100. Other schools received their percentage of the top score. In order to be included in the full-time MBA rankings, a program had to have 20 or more of its 2014 full-time MBA graduates seeking employment.
