Robinson Part Time Program Ranked by U.S. News & World Report
The newest ranking of MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report was released on March 10th in the publication’s “Best Graduate Schools 2016″ edition. Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business’ Part Time MBA program placed No. 44 overall and No. 19 among public university programs.
In addition to the Part Time MBA Program, Robinson received other accolades in this year’s report. According to the school’s press release announcing the rankings, Robinson is the only Georgia business school with a top 10 specialty program in the rankings. The college’s Department of Computer Information Systems is No. 9 among graduate-level information systems programs. In other rankings, Robinson’s Institute of Health Administration is No. 34 among healthcare management programs.
“Our standing among the nation’s top programs reflects the high regard in which the college is held, the quality of our students, and our reputation for developing business leaders,” said Dean Richard Phillips.
Two-hundred eighty-nine programs AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited institutions were evaluated by U.S. News, whose rankings are based on five factors: peer assessments from business school deans and program directors at schools offering MBA programs; average GMAT and GRE scores of students entering in fall 2014; average undergraduate GPA; work experience; and percentage of fall 2014 that is part-time.
