Wharton EMBA Ranked No. 2 By US News

The Executive MBA program at The Wharton School has been ranked no. 2 by U.S. News & World Report. This ranking was published in the 2016 best Business Schools report. The school was also ranked no. 3 overall. All 464 master’s programs in business accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International are surveyed in fall 2014 and early 2015 to create the rankings.

The final score for the rankings are determined through data calculated in a quality assessment, placement success and student selectivity. For this year’s rankings report, a total of 385 of the schools responded to the surveys. The Executive MBA program rankings are considered to be specialty rankings.

These rankings are based solely on ratings by business school deans and directors of accredited master’s programs from the list of schools surveyed. They were asked to nominate up to 10 programs for excellence in each of the areas listed.

Those schools receiving the most votes in each specialty are listed and are numerically ranked in descending order based on the number of nominations they received, as long as the school or program received seven or more nominations in that specialty area. Schools ranked at the bottom of each specialty ranking have received seven nominations.

The Executive MBA program at The Wharton School can be completed at the Philadelphia campus or at the San Francisco campus in California. The Wharton EMBA program is a Full-Time two-year program. Classes for this program are held on weekends, which allows for more flexibility to complete the program while still maintaining full-time employment. All executive students stay on site where, in addition to attending classes, they study and dine together. All students commute to the campus locations for classes on Friday and Saturday of alternate weekends.
