Students aren’t the only ones who strive to make the honor roll. At University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business, 11 business faculty members were honored for their achievements in teaching.
The faculty Honor Roll recognizes a diverse group of men and women who have been chosen based on the scores they received on the student-completed Course Instructor Surveys. The survey asks students to rate the teachers abilities in a number of different categories, like effective communication, student encouragement and whether students have learned the material sufficiently.
McCombs Today published the list of Honor Roll faculty:

David Platt, associate dean for undergraduate programs, who helps advise students for the Honor Roll event, spoke to McCombs Today about the group.
“McCombs is chock full of excellent teachers, and there is no magic bullet that sets this group apart,” said Platt. “Indeed, the group is notable for its diversity: they are researchers and practitioners, experienced and novice; they teach required classes and electives, upper division and lower division; and they are a mix of departments, genders, ages, and ethnicities.”
