Business School Students Rank Scheller Best MBA Value
When it comes time to choose a school for your MBA there are a lot of factors to consider, not the least of which its value. A new survey ranks Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller College of Business as the most valuable MBA.
Graduateprograms.com, a website dedicated to peer-written ratings and reviews of graduate programs, recently released a survey of over 10,000 current and former business school students. They asked students about how satisfied they were with their program and whether they would chose it again. The website was trying to determine which school offered students the best education for the price.
According to Business Insider, students were asked to rank their school’s on a scale from 1 to 10 in different categories– value, financial aid and quality of education. Scheller came in at the number one spot with a rating of 9.88. Scheller beat out Brigham Young University– which was rated 9.83– and Yale University which received a 9.82.
GraduatePrograms.com also ranked Scheller among the top 25 in the world in three other categories reported by Business Insider:
- 7th for Networking (schools where students have strong peer, faculty, and alumni networking connections and opportunities, even after graduating).
- 8th for Financial Aid (schools where students are most satisfied with the awarded scholarship money and application process).
- 12th for Best Quality of Education (schools where students have access to relevant, interesting, and challenging courses taught by qualified professors).
