The Online and Digital Learning team at the Fox School of Business has announced the introduction of Blackboard-based video tutorials. These tutorials were designed to aid the faculty at Fox with convenient technological support. Students will also have access to these video tutorials which, will ultimately help both students and staff to find the answers to the technological related questions in regards to their courses online. The Online and Digital Learning team created these some 40 videos over the course of nine months.
The videos available will cover topics ranging from how to set up courses, rubrics and assessments, to grading submitted assignments and beyond. The video tutorials are being introduced in conjunction with the launch of the new Fox Online & Digital Learning website, which is available to both students and staff. The Blackboard tutorials can be found under the Faculty & Student Resources tab.
The Fox Online & Digital Learning team hosts faculty development workshops in course design and teaching tools that will allow the Fox School to create more online programs and courses for students. The team also works with Fox students through WebEx Walk-Throughs. These WebEx Walk-Throughs help to ensure students that they are ready for any course that uses WebEx. The walk-through provides an overview of how to access WebEx and how to use it.
The Fox School of Business offers an online MBA program. The Fox Online MBA has been ranked no. one in the country by US News & World Report. The school’s website says that the program, “combines an integrated and collaborative curriculum, highly-ranked student services and technology, a dynamic learning community and internationally-recognized faculty,” in order to provide its students with the opportunity to earn the MBA degree with out disrupting any personal or professional commitments.
