Jesse H. Jones School of Business Appoints Interim Dean
The Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University has announced that Dr. John Howard Williams will serve as the Interim Dean for Jones. He will assume his new position on July 1, 2015.
Dr. Williams has held a variety of positions at Texas Southern University’s business school during his long tenure with the university. Dr. Williams is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Jesse H. Jones School of Business. He also serves as the school’s Associate Dean of Student Services, and advises the TSU chapter of the American Marketing Association. Williams received his B.S. from Prairie View A&M University, and his MBA and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
“We thank [Dr. Williams] for agreeing to serve in this significant role as we plan our search for a dean,” said James W. Ward, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Texas Southern University.
