Imperial Expands Executive Education Through Partnership
Imperial College Business School has partnered up with the Financial Times and the IE Business School in Spain in order to expand their executive education program, according to a press release from the school. The program, called the FT|IE Corporate Learning Alliance, will allow Imperial to run their executive education programs through local business schools everywhere from China to South America to Singapore. Imperial already offers bespoke courses in risk management, finance, health, innovation, strategy, and leadership.
The partnership allows Imperial to share their world-renowned executive education programs with corporate clients based outside of the United Kingdom, including Panasonic, Vodaphone, and Total. The program aims to share the expertise of some of the best business minds and practitioners with local professionals in a way that could benefit a business person no matter where they are located on the globe. The programs will be taught by business education practitioners, academics, and Financial Times journalists through online and face-to-face learning as well as the latest multimedia resources. The program also aims to take executives out of their comfort zones to encourage thinking in new and innovative ways.
Beate Baldwin, Head of Open Enrollment Programmes and Marketing at Imperial, was excited about the opportunities the new partnership will bring. “We are delighted to become a partner of the FT|IE Corporate Learning Alliance. This new partnership will allow us to enter a network of excellence on an international level and satisfy today’s corporate expectations of providing the same learning experience all over the world,” she said in a press release from the school.
