London Business School Adds MFA Program

London Business School announced that they will be adding a Masters in Financial Analysis to their prestigious financial program, according to a recent press release from the school. The program is designed for top graduates with backgrounds in quantitative studies who have recently graduated with less than one year of work experience. The first students will begin the program in September 2016.

The curriculum for the program is designed around 6 central pillars: Corporate finance, asset management, accounting, financial markets, financial econometrics, and global markets and world economy. The program will have a strong academic base enhanced by cross-program electives, global immersion field trips, and training in some of the most in-demand skills in the post-graduate world. A personal development program will also help hone the interpersonal skills vital for success in the business world, such as commitment, communication, and commercial awareness. The program will cost £31,000.

Gareth Howells, Executive Director of the MBA and MiF programs, was excited to expand the school’s successful finance program as well as increase the prominence of London Business School worldwide. “Our Masters in Finance has been ranked number one for the fifth year running, and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. We will continue to build on its strength, and are pleased that with the introduction of our new Masters in Financial Analysis, we will offer a finance programme at every career stage, increasing the global impact of our graduates,” he said in a press release. The ranking from the Financial Times that Howells referenced reported that the school’s MiF alumni had the highest salaries three years after they graduated as well as highest employment rate in the history of the ranking.
