Register for an Info Session About the UIC Liautaud MBA
For anyone wondering what it’s really like to be a UIC Liautaud Graduate School of Business MBA student, you can visit the school August, 29th from 9:30 to 11AM for an information session about the school’s MBA program. The session will be sponsored by the UIC College of Business Administration and will take place in Douglas Hall Room 170.
The presentation will highlight what life is like at Liautaud with topics of discussion including: insight into classroom experiences, student organizations, Graduate Assistantships, networking/professional development opportunities, and more. The session will conclude with an open Q&A forum.
The UIC Liautaud MBA may be pursued on a part-time, full-time or weekend basis. Part-time students register for one or two courses per semester and complete the program in three to four years; full-time students complete the program in approximately two years. Each course meets once a week for 16 weeks, from 6PM to 8:30PM, Monday through Thursday. Each core course is also offered online and certain electives are offered on Saturday mornings.
The UIC Liautaud MBA program is a 54 credit hour program comprised of six core courses and 7.5 advanced electives. The core courses are designed to provide students with a basic business foundation and fundamental concepts needed to deepen an MBA student’s functional business knowledge. The core curriculum consists of the following six courses: Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Marketing, Microeconomics, Operations Management, Organizational Behavior.
The Liautaud MBA also features advanced electives where MBA students customize their curriculum to meet their individual career interests and goals by emphasizing one or more of the following concentrations: Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Real Estate, or a customizable Self Directed track.
