The Rutgers School of Business- Camden will be hosting the first Annual Accounting Conference this November. The conference is open to any certified accountant in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the surrounding states. Program participants can earn up to 12 CPE credits for attending the event. The conference, which will be held Nov. 12 and 13, 2015, has been approved by the NJCPA and PA Boards of Accountancy for continuing education credits for license maintenance.
Students have the option to attend either the Thursday or Friday session, but are encouraged to attend both sessions. The 12 credits will be given if both sessions are attended- credits will be awarded for each of the sessions. The conference will cover the latest industry trends, updates and information for licensed accountants in the area. The conference will also feature speakers from the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area.
The featured speakers for the conference include, John M. Fleming, Executive Vice President at SmartPros LTD, Paul H. Besancon, Jr, managing director and principal at Strategic Associates LLC, Robert S. Melnick, J.D, LLM, CPA, Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Mergers and Acquisitions Tax group and many other leading industry experts from the area.
The conference will be held at the Camden County Boathouse in Pennsauken, New Jersey. The cost of the program for both the Thursday and Friday sessions is $450. The cost for only the Thursday session is $350 and the Friday session only, $175. The registration fess include parking, breakfast, snacks during the conference, lunch and all materials required for the program. The total amount of fees are due within two weeks of the conference.
