Fox Holds International Tourism and Biz Development Panel

The Fox School of Business will hold a panel discussion on International Tourism and Business Development. Fox will host the event in conjunction with the School of Hospitality Management at Temple University. The panel discussion will focus on the results of the world meeting of families on international business and tourism in the Philadelphia area, and beyond. The event will be held Oct. 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The panel discussion will feature experts from international tourism and hospitality business development. Panelist include, Jack Ferguson, CEO and President of Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Meryl Levitz, CEO and President of Visit Philadelphia, Brian Said, Executive Director, Tourism Division – Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Zabeth Teelucksingh, Executive Director of Global Philadelphia Association and Bill Gehrman, Founder and Principal of En Route Marketing.

Carrie Fischer Lenore, Deputiy Secretary for Marketing, Tourism and Film at the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) will serve as the event’s keynote speaker. In her position, Lenore is in control of marketing for the entire state for both domestic and international visitors. She is also responsible for promoting DCED programs to attract business relocation and expansion to Pennsylvania.

The event is open to all Fox and Temple University students, alumni, staff and all members of the hospitality industry from the Philadelphia area and interested members of the public. The event is free to attend but pre-registration is required for attendance. Those interested in attending the event can complete a registration form online.
